A joint Springs and Healing Springs Volunteer Fire Department Community Yard Sale will be held at the Healing Springs Fire Station on Saturday, September 18, from 7:00 AM to noon.
Every other year, The Springs’ Social Committee organizes a community yard sale with proceeds going to a worthy cause. This year, we are doing a joint yard sale with our Healing Springs Volunteer Fire Department, with all proceeds going to scholarships for volunteer firefighters and to new firefighting equipment. Our highly-trained first responders play a critical role in protecting our Springs community and were first on the scene during the four-alarm fire here last June. We want to thank them for all that they do for our community.
As you are doing your household cleaning and sorting, we ask that you please consider donating your gently-used treasures to our September yard sale. Donations may include furniture, housewares, working appliances, lamps, rugs, artwork, clothing and shoes, jewelry, toys, games, sports and exercise equipment, yard tools, other tools, camping gear, planters, pottery, linens, etc. You can drop off your items Friday morning, September 17, from 8:00 AM to noon at the Healings Springs Fire Station at the intersection of Highway 8 south and Bringle Ferry Road.
Ali Bachand and Sally Barnhart are collecting items now, pricing, and storing the items in their garages. If you need assistance transporting your items or have questions, please contact Ali Bachand or Sally Barnhart. Also, please consider monetary contributions. There will be a box at the fire station on the date of the sale, or you may send your contributions to:
